Your Daily Dynamo
By: Daryl | February 25th, 2008
Hello all, I was chosen by the select few that run this joint to write about Dynamo news in blog form, I am very excited about this as I am crazed Dynamo fan, I’m a season ticket holder and live just under 20 minutes from Robertson stadium. I have supported the Dynamo since they were San Jose and intend to bring you wonderful and passionate blog entrys that you’ll grow to love, now heres a little news for the day, please stay tuned!
-I found this very exciting…but small news a article about our new stadium development, the city bought 5-6 city blocks here downtown which is really close to the Toyota Center and the George R. Brown convention center, exciting stuff! Its about time we got our own stadium, Robertson is a very nice newly built stadium but it isn’t very soccer specific. What the best part about this is, the 6 blocks they did purchase is just under 5 minutes from my house!
-Of course most of you MLSer’s have heard we did indeed lose to Gamba Osaka 6-1, I’m still in shock from the loss because I thought our defense was a little bit better than leaking in a few, some of those goals were unstoppable, over all it seemed like a successful tournament. Heres a small recap here. By the way anyone wish Bare was playing somewhere else than the J-league he was electrifying in the final.
-Paul Dalglish has been released to scottish club Kilmarnock. The article says he is leaving after helping Houston to their 2nd MLS cup, but I don’t seem to remember him helping very much…
Thats all thats really going on the world of Dynamo for today, By the way check this out I found this little gem on MLS teams and their celebrity supporters take a look at how many Houston have it amazes me!

Hey Daryl. Yeah, I don’t think Dalglish did much for Houston in this year’s cup, although he certainly had a lot to do with the first one (2 goals in the semi over Colorado).

welcome! happy to see someone finally doing it again for the dynamo.
PPC – very dissapointed with the defense. i stayed up to watch one of the worst games from the Dynamo. Kinnear was asked if it was the worst loss as a coach, and replied by saying it was the worst lost ever. If Robinson isnt in, the defense is going to be a mess. The goals could have been stopped. all goals BARE (damn hes good) were due to leaks in the D. To much space given to that guy. we’ll see what the concacaf brings us. i know we’ll do fine.
