Taming the Lions

The Houston Leones managed just four shots and one goal over the weekend. The really sad part is that it was for two games. They managed only one shot in a 1-0 loss against the Laredo Heat and three shots in the 2-1 loss against the Rio Grande Valley Bravos.
The Leones will face these same two opponents again this weekend, but this time at home. It’s Laredo on Saturday and Rio Grande on Sunday. Both games start at 5:00 at Soccer World Center in Richmond, TX. Tickets are $8.00.
Also, I once noted the Dynamo’s Felix Garcia plays for Laredo. This is no longer true as his focus is now with the USMNT U-20 team.
