Survived Hurricane Ike, The beautiful game prevails..
By: Daryl | October 7th, 2008Hello all just wanted to let you all know we are safe here in Houston and managed fairly well, our power was out for 2 and a half weeks ( OMG !!!! ) but managed just fine.
I can’t post much now as work after the hurricane has been threw the roof, I’ll see if I can’t get my good friend Dave over at the RBNY offside or my buddy Martek at nutmegged to guest blog about our recent play-off berth or the great things the players have done with relief efforts in the wake of the storm. I know its been almost 3 weeks since the storm but all 3 million people that live in Houston are still strongly affected by the storm and Galveston our lovely little island town outside the city is completely destroyed and will never be the same place I grew up around and love(d) so much.
I just wanted to thank all of you for your support and prayers threw this tough time and as always….
