Smooth Criminals: Dynamo Steal One In K.C.
By: Jeremy | July 6th, 2009
There’s probably a hundred or so postgame reports out there so I won’t bore you with mine. You know the Dynamo won 1-0, that’s all you really need to know. Plus, I missed most of the first half anyway because my power decided to go out precisely at kick off. OK, stop begging. I’ll give you the quick version.
Whistle blows.
Ashe passes.
Chabala crosses (beautifully).
Kei scores.
Kei reaches in his pants.
Wait, what?!?
Oh, white glove in pants.
Dance.
Game over.
But this might be important, I’m assuming Bobby Boswell and Geoff Cameron will serve suspensions against Seattle due to yellow card accumulation. Man…international duty, suspensions, injuries…it doesn’t look good.
What did you think of Kei Kamara’s Michael Jackson goal celebration?(online surveys)

We’ll definitely be missing one of our starting central defenders and one of our best central midfielders due to Gold Cup. And our best central defender, Alonso, is iffy with a groin pull. So we’re going to be defensively suspect. And one of our top forwards has just been hit with a $5m sexual assault lawsuit, so who knows where his mind will be? And given our penchant for drawing red cards…
May the team with the last man standing win!

They might need to pull some people out of the stands for this one. Can Drew Carey play forward? Maybe Oscar De La Hoya can play our back line.

Drew vs. Oscar? That does NOT sound like a fair matchup!

Looks as if Kei has premeditated celebrations for every game.

Next game his celebration will be a tribute to Farah Fawcett.

Also, thought you’d enjoy seeing how you’re seen. This is a Seattle-based photographer/reporter.

The Dynamo staff and management represented themselves well in Seattle and made many friends. Despite his frustration with the Sounders goal, Dominic Kinnear was the perfect gent after the match.
Y’all look out for our match report from the Open Cup game.
