Off to the see the wizards! the wonderful..

Yeah…you get the picture, we head to Kansas City this weekend in a game where a win is a must!

After several under the bar performances I would expect nothing more than to see the true orange come out and giving KC a proper thumping, after all they are coming off a 3-1 loss to the Rev’s in midweek. I’m sure they will be looking to get back on track but fortunately so will we, expect this game to have some heavy fireworks as both sides will look to score fast and first.

Injury report as of April 2nd from the official Dynamo website:

OUT: MF Mike Chabala (L foot fracture); GK Pat Onstad (R shoulder sprain); FW Johnny Alcaraz (L ankle sprain); DF Eddie Robinson (L knee bone bruise/swelling);

DOUBTFUL: MF Stuart Holden (L ankle sprain)

I’m not quite sure how bad Onstad’s injury is but I believe he may be back for the weekend, after that terrible terrible performance from Caig against Saprissa I don’t expect the ex-Gretna keeper to be around much longer.

In order to get our season back on track we must have a fit Stuart Holden, say what you will about the kid but he’s just to good to not be in the team. Unfortunately he may only feature as a late sub in this game depending on the score line.

Our dear Mr. Robinson will be missed but he looks pretty banged up and is going to need some time to recover hopefully it won’t be an injury that requires surgery as he is an integral part to our team.

KC looks like they will have a full strength squad on the field as there are no major injuries to report on except for the obvious Matt Marquess being out due to knee surgery.

Things to look for:

1)The Cauldron- MLS gets a lot of shit for fans not being passionate or not showing up to the games, I don’t know about you guys but KC has some of the best(Along with Houston, TFC, and DC Unite) they scream their heads off and with this smaller stadium they play in, the atmosphere looks to be a lot better than Arrowhead.

2) Our Keeper problem – If Onstad isn’t back in the fold due to injury I would almost expect Caig to get a start seeing as that’s all we got, I’m praying Onstad can make it back because Caig is shite. And. this is an issue that needs to be looked at, Onstad is 40 what are we doing in terms of getting a younger more agile keeper with Pat decides to retire? That’s a whole another can of worms….

3) De-Ro – Our creative midfielder/striker/scoring machine has been really quiet since the Pan-Pacific tourney, I predict he will have a field day with the KC back line, only time will tell though.

Unfortunately this will not be shown on FSC, only on MLSLive.tv, I’ll be back Saturday night with a match recap.
