Dynamo win 3-1 to top off a spectacular night at Robertson…
By: Daryl | June 9th, 2008
Wow! is all I have to say.
What a freaking night, if the soccer gods were conjuring they definitely were conjuring in my favor.
Full MatchRecap
So, I was a guest to the Dynamo game last night courtesy of TSA an HP product vendor, and they just so happen to have an Executive Suite at Robertson which has a great view of the field, Downtown Houston, and the sunset. I unfortunately got to our box at about the 10th minute mark missing kick-off but the great atmosphere slowly settled my nerves and let me know I was about to watch a great game of football. Throughout the game I was invited to take part in the free beer and BBQ which were offered and it definitely made it a lot easier to explain the game to the 5 or 6 people that had never been to a Dynamo game before and boy could you tell. The three goals were great, D-ro and Ching(2) where both on the score sheets and reminded us why the Orange Army loves them so, they definitely delivered and the crowd went nuts for them.
Having said that I also had the an opportunity to take a picture with the Dynamo girls and the promise of meeting Oliver Luck was in the air as the people around me told me he passes by this suite during half-time, unfortunately I didn’t get to meet him. The game was won fair and square with a few squabbles here and there but nothing to serious, but the highlight of the game was to come not during the game but right after…As the game ended our very very kind vendors that invited my boss and I to the game gave me something I’ll always keep, An official Dynamo Ball signed by the entire team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which I have to say I am still shocked that I am now the owner of this.
With a win now firmly in our grasp’s it looks like the boys are back in town and right on track, This win pushes us up to 2nd place in the Western standings and with a game still in hand(DC United replay) I don’t see why we won’t be in 1st in the coming weeks, looks like that slow start thing is going to happen every season but I’d rather have a slow start then a slow ending!
Thank you TSA for the best experience I’ve ever had at Robertson and for the very special gift given to me from you, words can’t explain what that signed ball means to me!

Very nice score Daryl! Excellent work getting that ball. Now get Greg back there on Thursday and convert his essence to all things Orange!
