Dynamo V. Dallas Preview, El Capitán is staying home.

By: Daryl | June 26th, 2008

I’m going to make this short and sweet this fine lovely morning as I prepare to head to Robertson tonight heres a few things I expect to see tonight.

D-Ro - Come on buddy we need you to link up with chingy tonight to put on a spectacular show in front of a wild crowd, you know its gonna be carazy!

Stuart Holden - You hit the post against Colorado but now can you put in the net against Dallas? Only tonight will tell but boy you need goal.

Kenny Cooper - The man is on somewhat of a hot streak at the current moment, will mistake duo Bobby Boswell and Patrick Ianni be able to hold him, or will Onstad have to save the day once again.

Feel free to drop me an email if your headed to the game.

As I wrote over on Nutmegged, a 3-1 l’Orange win tonight. Cooper scores, but no one else as Ianni has the game he had against TFC and Bozzie proves once again we got the better of the Wells deal.

I agree about Holden. He’s getting excellent looks and chances, but somehow hitting the post, crossbar or the keeper’s hands (Preston Burpo’s save. of. his. life.). He’s just got to focus, maybe use Chingy’s visualization techniques and cool it on the nightlife until he busts the slump.

DDR scores or assists on two goals tonight and Ching buries the deal with a strike in the 70th minute.

    Dale.

Was the first half of the game preempted for the WNBA triple-overtime game all around the country, or only here in Portland. We had about a dozen people in the pub to watch this one and had to watch ladies’ basketball instead of the first half including Ching’s goal.

WTF? ESPN dropped the ball bigtime; they should have moved the MLS game to ESPNews or Classic while the ladies’ barnburner was finishing up (for a goddam hour).
