Dynamo set for Primetime Showdown…
By: Daryl | June 12th, 2008
Tonight we see our boys in Orange take on a NE Revolution side that has had a very good run of games recently and will be looking to follow up their 3-0 win at the start of the season with another on our home ground.
Unfortunately for us we are without are highest goal scorers due to international duty (Ching, Rosario), but on the bright side this NE side will definitely be feeling the effects of international duty as well with the likes of Kenny Mansally, Shalrie Joseph, and Khano Smith all out with their respected national sides. Watch for the absence of Shalrie Joseph he pretty much makes that NE midfield tick and I wouldn’t be surprised if there are some serious lapses of judgment by the NE midfield. On Sunday playing De-Ro up front again next to Ching showed what can happen but take these two out of the equation and what partnership do we have…Wondo and Carracio?…Yuck! but I’ll hold my tongue because I still think Carracio will prove himself…at some point.
In order to beat NE the Dom will have to tinker with the right line up to take on a relatively strong NE side, where this game will go I don’t know but for some reason I have this bad feeling its going to turn into a draw bore fest.
Prediction: 0-0
Catch the game tonight on ESPN2 at 8PM Central.
