Dynamo Girls vs. Starting 11 Girls

The Offside Dynamo page has been without a writer for some time now so I’m trying to regenerate some interest during this “rebirthing” period. So what’s the easiest way to do that? By posting a pic of this firecracker, of course. She is Lauren, a lovely member of the Dynamo Girls. Now all I need is a topic to go along with the picture.

Ah, I’ve got it!

My thorough research tells me (and please let me be wrong) there is only one other MLS cheerleader/dance troop besides the Dynamo Girls. The Kansas City Wizards boast the Starting 11 Girls. I think they have more than 11, but who’s complaining?

So, in the spirit of wholesome competition, I will leave it up to you to decide which is the better squad. And use your interpretation of what “better” is. The criteria is completely open to whatever you deem as relevant qualities in making your decision. Do your research, whatever that may consist of, and cast your vote.

  Also, Seattle had some weird pompon girl thing at their opening. They didn’t show up in the second game, so I’m thinking it was one-time only.
