Well what the hell?

Its not a loss but…

Still….what the hell is going on? I know we lost Ngwenya and Nate but please this is a little ridiculous, we just can’t seem to score.

I was at the game and the game looked fairly even in the first half but the second half we took over and dominated for large periods of time. We out shot them 9-1 and had plenty of chances, our closest chance came in stoppage time when Ching put his snap header literally millimeters wide, Franco looked really sharp with 3 shots on goal starting up top with Ching, then as time wore on you could tell he wasn’t exactly match fit.

Well at least Ching can admit to what’s going wrong at the moment:

“It was a rough night. We battled well, but I had several opportunities to put the ball in the net,” Ching said. “I didn’t do my job tonight, which is to finish. I thought that weighed on my mind, and it’s something that I have to correct. I think we have to just get into form with scoring goals. We are getting chances. I have to keep my head in it and not let it get myself down.”

It takes a big man to admit what he was doing wrong, and I’ll agree he was a little off and has been a little off these past few games but that could be down to another issue. Is it me or is all this traveling really taking a toll on the team, In Europe is a little easier to get around with countries being a little bit more grouped together, but traveling from Texas to Hawaii to Guatemala back to Texas then Boston then back to Texas and then off to Costa Rica next week doesn’t sound very enticing and its only going to get worse.

Well I’m done ranting now, but on a smaller note…it’s offcial, West Ham will be the MLS All-Star’s opponent this year, thank god this is the last year of this meaningless game, bring on the EPL teams!

And so I leave you with our Dynamo Girls…seems like it’s the only good thing we’ve got going at the moment.
