Dyanmo 1-1 Dallas, El Capitan goes to Dallas
By: Daryl | June 30th, 2008
Seeing as we still can’t finish the glorious chances we have in front of goal we were stuck with a mediocre draw to sit back on in wonder.
A few things,
The Fans – You wouldn’t believe only 16,900 showed up with all the noise that was made, the Texian Army looking stronger than ever really got into and showed up their much louder counter parts El Bation. And Dallas’s away fans were pretty loud as well I really like where I sit at Robertson but walking past the away tunnel to try and get out is horrendous, thanks dallas jack-offs for once again throwing glow sticks at us!
Brian Ching – I want to take back what I said about him earlier in the season because he does still have it and proved to me once again why I love him so, its like a love-hate relationship.
Pat Onstad – The “Holy Goalie” as you will showed just how much he cares about the team, when Cooper scored I’ve never seen him so mad in his Dynamo career he really tore into his defenders hardcore because they completely left him out to dry, here’s looking at you Bobby! And the replay of him really tearing into them was priceless.
All in all I’m pretty happy with the draw, I know some of you will say we should have won but I’ll be the first to admit that Dallas actually has quite the cast of fantastic players, and I’m still not sure why Cooooooooper has no MSNT call up.
As it stands El Capitan will go to Dallas winning the series 4-2.

Onstad was yelling at Ianni, not Boswell. The same as Ching was calling out Ianni after the match when he said something like, “it’s the same guys every match”. Looks like Robinson might be out for a while, though, so I think the Dynamo are stuck with Ianni on the field unless Mulrooney comes back and they move Waibel inside.

I wish Mulrooney would get back a bit quicker, but It just wasn’t Ianni, Bobby had his moments to and I’m sure Ianni wasn’t the only one taking the slack.
