Cochrane First Selection in Expansion Draft
By: Marc | November 22nd, 2007Just three days after winning his second MLS Cup with Houston, Ryan Cochrane is now an Earthquake. He was the first selection by Frank Yallop in the expansion draft. There’s a nice article about it in the Mercury News. The interesting thing is that Ryan apparently had asked Houston coach Dominic Kinnear to leave him open in the draft as he was interested in returning to his roots in the Bay Area. Good for him!
