The U.S. Soccer Federation should be absolutely embarassed by the 8-0 win over Barbados. There was no honor in beating up a tiny Caribbean nation. And to watch them still celebrate every goal made me sick. Whatever happened to respect and honor on the playing field? What a bunch of losers you are. After 3 or 4 goals, there should have been orders from the coach not to score anymore and just play keepaway. Do you think Brazil or Spain would’ve kept putting balls in the back of the net? What a joke.

“Do you think Brazil or Spain would’ve kept putting balls in the back of the net?” YES!
Brazil 6 – Chile 1, July 7, 2007
Brazil 5 – Ecuador 0, October 17, 2007
Spain 12 – Malta 1, 1983 Euro qualifying gameThe whole point of the soccer (and most other sports!) is to score as many goals as possible!

Yes, I do think Spain or Brazil would have kept putting them in the back of the net, all we have to do is look at the Spain vs. Russia game to prove your an aboslute idiot, the game was won 4-1 and yet Spain still kept looking for a 5th not just to play keep away. This has nothing to do with respect for a tiny caribbean nation and your anger should be pointed to CONCACAF AND JACK WARNER not the USMNT you freaking asshole, the USMNT doesn’t make the rules they do. I agree with you to the extent that is was uneven match up but to get mad at players for doing their fucking jobs……..give me a break.

Recipe for a Brian Ching USMNT hat trick:
1. Get absolutely nailed in the back with a teammate’s shot while being offside.
2. Get credit for an opponent’s own goal.
3. Tap in from a yard out after the pub team you are playing against has completely given up.Serve with a side of “still useless against meaningful competition.”
Ta-da!

Awwww come on no love for chingy? He isn’t the most spectacular goal-scoring machine the world but his hold up play and poaching skills are superb!

Daryl, Ching has certainly had his moments in the MLS, but on the international level he hasn’t shown much besides being able to trample our CONCACAF foes. He has good work rate and decent technical skills for a big man, but his lack of pace, unreliable first touch, poor movement and positioning off the ball… I just don’t see him as a long term striker option for the USMNT.
