By: Jeremy | July 4th, 2009I made a comment on a previous post about how cool it would be to have Shiner Bock as the official sponsor of the Dynamo. Not that I have anything against Amigo Energy, but I got to thinking about other companies and came up with my Top 5 suggestions should Amigo Energy need replacing. Of course, my first choice would be for the Dynamo to go back to just having their own name on the jersey, but we all know that won’t happen. So, excluding the Dynamo, here’s my list.
1. As mentioned earlier, my first choice would be Shiner Bock. Who wouldn’t love that? Merchandise sales would soar!
2. How about Hooters? Think about it. The colors would work well, they could do some great giveaways, and the Dynamo alternate uniforms (white top, orange shorts) are practically Hooters uniforms already.
3. The Houston area has many Louisiana transplants following Hurricane Katrina. How about some cajun seasoning to help them feel at home? But not just any seasoning, it’s gotta be Slap Ya Mama Cajun Seasoning! That would be fantastic.
4. This may be a little too local, but if you’ve ever been to Rustlin’ Rob’s in Fredericksburg, TX then you’ll know it is worthy of consideration.
5. Tito’s Vodka. I’ve never tried it personally, but I hear it some good stuff. It’s made in Texas so you know it’s good.

Maybe I’m spending too much time on Kickette, but I would go for the Hooters sponsorship… ONLY if the team wears the official Hooters short-shorts. Is this wrong?!?!
