A Schedule Conflict & Other Stuff
By: Jeremy | September 10th, 2009
How’s this for scheduling? The Dynamo/Crew match takes place on September 13th, smack-dab in the middle of the NFL’s first full-swing Sunday. OK, it might be because the Crew doesn’t want to compete with Saturday’s stellar college football game of Ohio State versus USC. I’m guessing Columbus is a bit more interested in their Buckeyes than in the NFL. But, obviously, they weren’t considering my interests when making the schedule. Personally, I don’t care for Ohio State. Scheduling a Dynamo game on the same day as any NFL game doesn’t work well for me. I must issue a stern warning. MLS, I raise a yellow card to you.
Also, Brad Davis will be suspended for the Columbus game due to a red card incurred during the Colorado Rapids game.
I’m not sure if this part is just informative or a warning of some kind, but if you attend the game please be prepared for the musical panache of Pillar and The Beautiful Republic (not to be confused with TNA’s The Beautiful People). And I think that dude in the middle of the Pillar picture is Zak Bagans from the Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures. I might be wrong though.
A big Offside Houston congratulation goes to Ricardo Clark for his game winning goal against Trinidad. Congrats, Rico!

At least the Texans have a noon kickoff. It should be good timing. Just enough time to switch from red/blue shirt to orange and go from Reliant to a bar.
